OLD AGE HOMES IN EVERY DISTRICT
1.       Due to increase in the cases of old age people abandonment by their families, Government of Bihar decides to build old age homes in every district of Bihar.
2.       This will require an investment of Rs.3226 crore.
3.       Foundation was laid already before six years but it will be given more attention now.
4.       These centers will look after old age people and also divyangjans.
5.       The medical test, physiotherapy and legal assistance will be provided.

RANKING NOT UPTO MARK
1.       PATNA MUNICIPAL COMMISSIONER has expressed his dissatisfaction over the ranking of PATNA in Swaccha Survekschan report.
2.       He said that parameters were not designed as per social, cultural and financial aspects.
3.       According to him ranking should be categorized under different heading (developed, underdeveloped and developing cities)
4.       He told that Patna lacks many essential infrastructure. 
  •  Patna got following points ;-
  • ·         0-certification category- ODF, Garbage free certificate
  • ·         278-service level progress; sanitation and cleanliness improved but data not uploaded.
  • ·         748-direct observation category-no. of communit toilets, maintenance of planned settlement
  • ·         650-citizen feedback
100 MBPS FREE WI-FI INTERNET CONNECTIVITY
1.       Rajdhani Vatika or Eco Park will be equipped with 100 MBPS free wi- fi connectivity
2.       Also 6105 panchayat has been connected with internet facilities.
3.       These comes under BHARAT NET project- pillar of Digital India.

BRITISH HIGH COMMISSIONER VISITS PUSA UNIVERSITY
·         British High Commissioner visits Pusa Agricultural University to finalize Memorandum of Understanding for student and faculty to exchange their programmes.

MARTIAL TRAINING UNDER MISSION SHAHSAKT
·         Martial art training was provided by Bihar police under MISSION SHASHAKT.
·         It was aimed to prepare participants physically and mentally for self defense and save others from sexual harassment.

GREIVANCE REDRESSAL CELL IN EACH DEPARTMENT
·         Bihar government would set up grievance redressal cell at each of department to resolve service related problem of working and retired government employees with 60 days of filling petition.

SEWARAGE TREATMENT PLANT UNDER NAMAMI GANGA PROJECT
·         Sewarage treatment plant will be constructed in towns like Chhapra (242.63 crore), Fatuha (35.48 crore),  Maner(43. 56 crore), Bakhtiyarpur (37.8 crore) and  Sonepur (32.60 crore)

·         Ministry of MSME, BEA organize Industries motivation campaign for creating self employment avenues.

BUXAR POWER PLANT INAUGURATED
·         A thermal power plant in Buxar of 1320 MW was ingurated by Narendra Modi.

NAL KA JAL TO EVERY HOUSEHOLDS IN 3 YEARS
·         Recently in USRI- A NEER NIRMAN PROJECT was launched.
·         This will provide water storage facility free of cost.
·         Those who have already invested money will be refunded.
·         This project successfully covered 600 households.
·         The problem of Open defecation will be resolved.
