AIIMS TO HAVE CATH LAB
 AIIMS, PATNA to have a new cath lab for heart patients’ treatment. This will facilitate angiography, angioplasty, valvotomy, etc.
The patients had to travel outstation for heart treatment. Now after successful CATH LAB construction and operation patients can get treated here in AIIMS, Patna.

 RESEARCH ON PNEUMONIA BY JOINT EFFORT OF ICMR AND PMCH
 Pneumonia is most common disease that causes child deaths in India.
 Every year 15-20 k children visit PMCH. Out of which 25% are pneumonia patients.
  Therefore ICMR and PMCH will be conducting research on Pneumonia and related issues. Also they will find the measures to control the spread of pneumonia in kids on regular basis.

  29TH VEER KUNWAR GOLD CUP KABADDI COMPETITION TO BEGIN IN PATNA
This competition will be organized  Patliputra Sports premise.

 PATNA JUNCTION TO BE DEVELOPED ON THE LINES OF CENTRAL STATION OF NEWYORK CITY
The look of Patna junction will be changed till 30 April.
The investment for this has to be 2 crores.
 The lighting of the junction is to be changed. Also it will be operated by computer.
The lights will be replaced by LED lights so that electricity consumption doesn’t increase in the process of renovation.

 NO HEAVY VEHICLES ALLOWED ON GANDHI SETU
 Due to repair and maintenance going on GANDHI SETU BRIDGE, Patna the movement of heavy vehicles have been prohibited for few days.

 IGIMS TO HAVE MODULAR OT
 This special modular OT will be built for liver and kidney transplantation specially.

 EVERY DISTRICT TO HAVE ANIMAL SCIENCE CENTRE
 To treat ill health of animals immediately in need, the decision to create Animal Science Centre has been taken.
  It will promote animal husbandry in state too.
  Right now there are two centres- One in Ara and other in Jamui
  The construction of Animal Science Centre will attract youths in animal husbandry sector by generating employment.

  ONLY 7 COLLEGE OF BIHAR GOT A GRADE IN NAAC ASSESSMENT
  Out of 127 colleges enlisted for assessment by NAAC, only 7 could obtain a grade of A. These are College of Commerce, Art and Science Patna, LS college, Bhagalpur, PWC, ANC, TNB College Nathnagar, CM Science college, Darbhanga.
  No college got A plus, A plus plus grade.
