1. BIHAR WILL BE AFFECTED BY CYCLONE FANI
Cyclone FANI may hit Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Purna, Forbesganj, Kishanganj, Araria
What is Fani?
Fani is an extremely severe cyclone with speed 167kph to 221kph.
It has potential to cause damage in Odisha and neighbouring states.
Sophisticated warning system and enough logistical preparedness to evacuate people.

2. HINDI PETITION WILL BE ACCEPTED BY HIGH COURT
Till now petitions were accepted in English only but High Court has made an announcements that Hindi petitions well also be accepted.

3. NEW CAREER CENTRE TO BE STARTED IN P.U.
 A new career centre will be soon started in Patna University.
This Career Centre is meant to career counsellor or career guide to the students.
The MoU had already been signed between Patna University and Medha Foundation.

4. RISE IN NUMBER OF ASTHMA PATIENTS
Recently due to excessive pollution in Patna, the rise in number of asthma patients have been observed.
Patna ranks 6th in pollution chart globally.
The dust particles, smoke, etc. present in air have been major cause of irritant and inflammation in Asthma patients and others also.
