     —  BIHAR RANKS 20 IN HEALTH SERVICES FACITILIES
—           Recently in a report, HEALTHY STATES, PROGREESING NATION prepared by NITI AYOG, HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE MINISTRY AND WORLD BANK, Bihar degrades in position comparatively. This year Bihar ranked 20.
—           Kerala topped the list.
—          The list was prepared on the basis on 23 indicators. Some of them are infant mortality rate, fertility rate, appointments, nurses ANMs, birth registration etc.

     —  669 KMS.NH IN BIHAR DAMAGED AND NEED REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
—          More than 13% of NH in bihar is damaged. This has affected the transportation and the trade and commerce of the state.

     —  RENOVATION AND REJUVENATION OF WELLS TO BE DONE IN BIHAR
—          Due to extreme heat and drinking water shortage in state, government of Bihar has come up with the decision to renovate and rejuvenate the wells.
—          Rejuvenation of 263 wells have been started. Approximately work of 20 wells have been already completed.
—        After this quality assessment test will be done to know whether the water is drinkable or not.

—        ELECTRICITY TO BE PRODUCED IN ROHTAS BY FLOATING SOLAR PLANT
—       The new technique to produce electricity by floating solar plant will begin as pilot project in Rohtas.
—        This will not only help the fishery going under water but enhance the electricity capacity of state.
—        Rohtas will be first district in Bihar to generate the electricity by this means.
   —  Approximately Rs.200 crore will be spent for this project.
