MUKHYAMANTRI NARI SHAKTI YOJANA
´The programme was launched
in 2007-08 throughout the state with an objective to empower women and make
them self reliant.
´The programme envisages
holistic empowerment of women in the economic, social and cultural spheres.
´ This commences
a long journey to improve women’s economic and social status.

underlines several activities aimed to address issues that have been looked
upon as constraints impeding women’s quest for greater economic and social
