•SOME FACTS ABOUT BIHAR
—PALEOLITHIC AGE- The weapons of
Paleolithic age has been found from Gaya(Jethiyaan dam), Munger(Bhim dam), and Patna.
These were knives, axes, and scabs etc.
—The cultural form of Bihar started
developing in North stone age. People
started moving from caves and taking up agricultural activities, domesticating
animals.
—They
gradually started cooking and accumulating things of usage.
—According to Rig Veda, Eastern Bihar
had already developed before advent of
Aryans. Kikat and Vratya, places of ancient Bihar is mentioned in Rig
Veda.

KALBELIYA DANCE
—Kalbelia or Kabeliya is
a POPULAR dance of Rajasthan.
—It
is performed by the tribes of kalbelia of Rajasthan

dance is performed by men
and women of
these community.
—In 2010 UNESCO
declared folk song and dances by kalbeliya tribe as Intangible Heritage.
—They
are known for spontaneous
composition of lyrics and improving songs performances.

women dancers wear black skirts and move perform like a dancing snake and
serpent.
The male play musical instruments to develop rhythm in dance performance.
