•ART AND CULTURE AT GLANCE
JAT JATIN DANCE
—Jat  Jatin dance is one of most popular dance form of Bihar, more aptly Mithila region and Koshi region of north Bihar.
—The dance was derived from the love story of Jat and Jatin who were separated and lived in very tough circumstances. Usually, it is performed in a couple on moonlit nights in monsoons.
—Also contemporary problems like drought and floods,  natural calamities and other social issues like poverty, sorrow, agricultural failures.
— They also show fights between husbands and wives in their dance performance.
