1                          INSTALLATION OF SOLAR PLATES ON GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS

  • In wake of promoting renewable sources of energy, government has directed to install solar plates on all government buildings and offices.
  • Also there is need to spread awareness among people to install solar plates on ponds and wetlands too.
  • Also rainwater harvesting has been encouraged for the decreasing groundwater table.

2                          ERADICATION OF CHILD LABOUR IN 6 MONTHS

  • VIJAY KUMAR SINHA, the labour resources minister has called for eradicating child labour from state in six months and entire state in one year.
  • On the occasion of WORLD DAY AGAINST CHILD LABOUR, a joint event was organized by Labour Resource Department, Nehru Yuva Kendra and UNICEF.
  • Effective policies should be framed in collaboration with other states for identifying and punishing employers so that children are not affected.
