  DEATH TOLL RISES IN MUZAFFARPUR DUE TO ACUTE ENCEPHALITIES SYNDROME
  To find the cause of deaths, a seven member committee have been formed by the central government in Muzaffarpur.
  The officers claimed the reason to be HYPOGLACEMIA.
  HYPOGLYCAEMIA RESULTS FROM HIGH HEAT, HUMIDITY AND NO RAIN.
  Also the brain disease is associated with a toxic substance in litchi grown in Muzaffarpur and adjoining districts. 

  NEW BRIDGE OVER GANGA IN PATNA
  A new four lane bridge across the Ganga next to MAHATMA GANDHI SETU is to be constructed.
  The proposed bridge is to be constructed within 3 years with the projected amount of Rs.2900 crore.

  TURN WASTE IN TO COMPOST AT ANY COST BY 31 JULY
  In wake of implementing SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT 2016 BY NATIONAL GREEN TRIBUNAL, all municipal corporations of state have been ordered to collect door to door waste and garbage by 30 June.
  Also solid waste and semi solid waste to be separated.
  By 31 July this garbage has to be processed for compost preparation.
  Ultimatum has been given to make municipal corporation ODF by 30 June.

  BIHAR BECOMES 1ST STATE TO TRAIN PEOPLE FOR SWIMMING
  DISASTER MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY recently organized SAFE SWIMMING programme.
  To save people lives from drowning, BIHAR GOVERNMENT has come forward to give free training for safe swimming.
  Firstly six to 18 years old boys and girls will be covered.

  SEPARATE UNIT TO INSPECT CRIME AGAINST WOMEN
  Separate unit to inspect crime against women have been established in 40 police districts.
  These crime include rape, acid attack, dowry deaths, human trafficking etc.

  SEVEN AGRO- BASED MACHINES TO BE GIVEN ON 75% SUBSIDY
  Earlier subsidy was 50%.
  Scheduled tribes category will be given 80%
